Terms of Use

1. Ownership and Operator

The portal Indulgentia (indulgentia.org) is administered by Public Institution "Regnum boni" (brand "Bonirama"), a non-profit public institution registered in the Republic of Lithuania (hereinafter — "Operator").

2. Definitions

  • Certificate / Indulgence — a digital (PDF format) humorous document with a unique serial number, generated upon the Buyer's order and sent by email.
  • Buyer — a natural or legal person purchasing a Certificate.
  • Operator — PI "Regnum boni".
  • Service — the Indulgentia portal and all its features.

3. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order, the Buyer confirms that they have read, understood and fully agree to these Terms of Use. Acceptance of these terms is a legally binding agreement between the Buyer and the Operator.

4. Description of Service

Indulgentia sells humorous, souvenir-type "permission to sin" certificates — entertainment documents styled as official papers (with serial numbers, stamps, and Latin phrases). They are intended for bachelor parties, bachelorette parties, corporate events and leisure.

Certificates are for entertainment purposes only and have no legal, religious, financial or official validity. Their sole purpose is humour and entertainment.

5. Eligibility

The Service may be used by any person with the legal capacity to enter into this agreement under the laws of their country. By placing an order, the Buyer confirms that all information provided by them is accurate, complete and correct.

6. Order

A Certificate is ordered through the portal interface by selecting a category, entering personalised information and completing payment. The Buyer must provide accurate data necessary to generate and deliver the Certificate.

7. Prices and Payments

Prices are stated on the portal and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Payment can be made by credit/debit card (Stripe) or other methods indicated on the portal.

Payments are processed via secure, encrypted (SSL) connection. The Operator reserves the right to update prices. If a price is incorrectly stated due to a technical error, the incorrect price is not binding on the Operator.

8. Delivery, Right of Withdrawal and No-Refund Policy

The Certificate is digital content delivered not on a tangible medium and a product clearly personalised according to the Buyer's individual order.

Under Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal does not apply when:

  1. Delivery of digital content began with the consumer's explicit consent and acknowledgement that they lose the right of withdrawal.
  2. The goods are made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised.

By placing an order, the Buyer explicitly consents to the Certificate being generated immediately and acknowledges that they lose the right to withdraw.

Payments made for generated and delivered Certificates are NON-REFUNDABLE. A refund, like the indulgence itself, does not apply retroactively.

Exception: if due to the Operator's technical error the Certificate was not delivered or is clearly defective, the Operator will re-issue a proper Certificate free of charge or refund the amount paid.

9. Certificate Delivery

Upon successful payment, the Certificate is generated with a unique serial number and sent to the email address provided by the Buyer. Authenticity can be verified using the serial number in the portal's verification system.

10. Public Benefit Activities

A portion of collected funds will be allocated by PI "Regnum boni" to public benefit activities — fostering a culture of gratitude and the common good, including charity and support.

This is the only real promise Indulgentia makes — and it is not a joke.

11. Intellectual Property

The portal's content (texts, design, logos, stamp graphics, code) belongs to the Operator or is used under appropriate licences. Commercial use of the Service without the Operator's prior written consent is prohibited.

The Certificate is granted to the Buyer for personal, non-commercial, entertainment use.

12. Prohibited Use

It is prohibited to use the Service for illegal purposes or to present Certificates as genuine official documents.

13. Limitation of Liability

Statutory consumer rights are guaranteed. Certificates are for entertainment purposes and are provided "as is". The Operator is not liable for consequences arising from anyone treating a Certificate as a genuine official document.

14. Personal Data and Security

Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy and GDPR. The entire sales process takes place via a secure SSL connection.

15. Changes to Terms

The Operator reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Changes are published on the portal and take effect at the time of publication. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.

16. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania. Disputes shall first be sought to be resolved amicably.

The consumer may apply non-judicially to the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (SCRPA, www.vvtat.lt), Vilniaus g. 25, Vilnius.
